Beach Clean-Up w /Prizes tomorrow, April 21st. Sea U There!

Friendly Reminder from Board Director Diane Wenzel:

Let's come together as a community to clean up our treasured beach tomorrow, Sunday, April 21st at 12:30pm. While picking up trash is essential, we're turning it into a fun community event. Prizes await winners in four categories: most micro trash collected, most trash collected, most unusual trash find, and the biggest single piece of trash.

You could WIN a FREE ONE-HOUR SUP (or Kayak) rental voucher from Westwind Sailing – or one of several Infinity surf tees & beach gear from team rider, Mel Wygal. 

Remember, safety first:

• Wear gloves when handling debris.

• Exercise caution with glass or other sharp objects.

• Seek assistance for heavy items.

Don't forget your supplies:

• Hydration in a reusable container.

• A reusable bag or bucket for trash collection.

• Sunscreen and a hat for sun protection.

• Closed-toe shoes or sneakers.

• Reusable gloves (like gardening gloves).

And remember:

• Leave natural items like driftwood or seaweed.

• Avoid walking on dunes.

• Respect wildlife.

• Watch your step around dune plants.
