We are saddened to announce that long-time Shorecliffs resident, John James Paoletti, passed away on November 14th at the age of 95. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones.
His family has asked our Shorecliffs community to honor his memory by joining in on the car parade that was previously scheduled for his 96th birthday at 11am on November 24th in front of the Paoletti home at 229 Via Socorro. It would be a touching tribute to see our neighborhood come together in support of this incredible man’s life and contributions to our great nation.
John James Paoletti lived in Shorecliffs for 25 years. He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Gloria, 4 daughters, 8 grandkids and 3 great granddaughters.
He served in the Army and Air Force for 24 years in the 99th and 2nd Infantry. He also served honorably in WWII at the Battle of the Bulge, the Korean War, and then became a Cryptographer. He loved Shorecliffs and the beach club very much.
Please rally with your neighbors and meet us this Tuesday, November 24th at 11am.
