URGENT!!! VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED – 150 SANDBAGS TO FILL.

Thank you to everyone who came down Thursday evening and Friday to help build temporary structures to protect the club from the pounding Southern Hemi swells and extreme tides. We’ve made tremendous progress!
Unfortunately, the sandbag walls in front of the club took a major beating, and some sections were washed away. We have located 150 more empty sandbags that need to be filled before the next round of swell and King Tide events arrives.
Please come down and do your part later this afternoon or early Saturday evening. We’ll also leave some empty sandbags on top of the north BBQ if you prefer to help out early Sunday morning. Bring your kids and teach them the value of community service. Fill as many sandbags as you can and place them behind the north BBQs. We’ll use them to fill gaps in the protective barriers over the next several days.
A strong community is built when everyone pitches in. It’s not about the same few people always stepping up—it’s about all of us doing our part.
